On the Wendesday Late Edition of Sports Tonight I was burned not once but twice by Felger.
In the commercial break before the C block (tv term) Felger asked me about Posey’s defense against players like Kobe and Lebron. I told him Posey could get in the face of both players and keep his body in front of them and prevent them from going to the basket. It was one of Posey’s underated skills.
Now, I knew he would use this on the air. I am giver people and I know Felger knows nothing about basketball. I felt I was making the segment better. I was being a team player.
Then during the next commericial break I said that maybe Bill Walker could be the guy who fills that defensive void left by Posey. What does Felger do? The first thing he says on the air is "Bill Walker could be the guy etc…" Stealing my thought word for word.
He can have my thoughts on Posey’s defense against Kobe and Lebron but if you are talking hoops and say that Bill Walker could be a defensive stopper on larger swing players like Kobe and Lebron remember the idea was mine and not Felger!
Felger…The Plagerist…coming to a theater near you.
Not surprising at all. You have insider knowledge when it comes to the C’s, better start protecting those nuggets of info or else you’re in for a long Felger/Dickerson poaching season hahaa.
So I forgot you guys were broadcasting live from Mohegan Sun tonight, so upon starting it on the tivo I had a strange impulse to blogcast about it (god the web is a trash heap).

Felger is a downer! He is constantly criticizing — rarely applauding. Look, we don’t want “homers” on our tv, but Felger is “under-the-top”!
The particular glee he displays whenever Boston College has anything bad happened to them is puerile and appalling! Yeah, I know he went to Boston U., and has a special hatred for Boston College, but his constant displays are SO UNPROFESSIONAL. It’s like he’s stuck in his freshman year! Get over it, Felger. You’re supposed to be an adult!
He is unmerciful on J.D. Drew and his back problems. Apparently Felger has never been afficted with a back problem; apparently, he’s never played a psort that takes its toll on your body either.
I have begun fast-forwarding through sections when Felger is talking, ‘cuz he doesn’t know his stuff. The example above where he steals Tanguay’s words and uses them on the show, knowing that Tanguay won’t confront him “live” is just one such proof. Gary SHOULD confront this creep-plagiarist!
Oh, but the crowning glory of this pseudo-sports person is when he questions Kevin Garnett’s ability to play with pain!! Gimme a break, you moron!!
COMCAST - GET RID OF THIS BOZO AND PUT IN SOMEONE LIKE MIKE HOLLEY, LOU MERLONI — OR JACKIE MACMULLEN IN HIS STEAD! Or ANYONE - but get rid of this guy! He’s killing your ratings…
