Getty ImagesIf you are a Celtics fan and are on Twitter, make sure you are following me, @Gary_Tanguay, today as I am tweeting all the developments of the possible Rasheed Wallace signing.

If you are not on Twitter, you can follow all the happenings in my blog "Tanguay’s Take."

Wallace is meeting with the Celts as reported on Mohegan Sun Sports Tonight over the last few days. I am hot on the trail and will keep you update throughout the day.

We do know that KG, Danny, Doc and Wyc are all making the trip to Michigan.

LATEST: Rasheed not interested in just money. Team has to have a shot at winning a title. (11:07 AM)

I caught up exclusively with Celtics GM Danny Ainge after today’s media session this morning at Helathpoint in Waltham. Ainge talks about 2nd Round pick Lester Hudson’s ability to make the team and addresses the rumors regaridng Rasheed Wallace. As reported on Mohegan Sun’s Sports Tonight at 6:30,

UPDATE: Sources have told me that Wallace will be in Boston tomorrow to meet with the Celtics.

Down here at Fenway before Game 2 of the Red Sox/ Yankees series and have a couple of notes:

  1. Jacoby Ellsbury Out until at least tomorrow: Manager Terry Francona said the Sox center fielder might be available tomorrow.
  2. In this week’s interview with Jonathan Papelbon, the Sox closer talks about whether he was napping in the bullpen last night. Plus, he also had a surpise drug test for me. If you remember a few weeks back, he wass kind enough to give me a nice t-shirt that leaves no doubt about my physical appearance. Let’s just say no other media member has EVER done this before doing an interview with one of Boston’s athletes. Watch the complete interview and all the other news from the day on Mohegan Sun’s Sports Tonight at 6:30 on Comcast SportsNet.

Some of you may have been wondering, " where the heck is Tanguay?" Okay, maybe you weren’t. However, I feel the need to explain my six week absense from Tanguay’s Take. For about two weeks I got lazy. I mailed it in.

But then, after playing golf with Donny Marshall and Tim Welsh I was motivated to write about my round with these two single digit golfers. When I tried to blog about Donny’s stellar, perfectly coordinated golfing outfit I discovered my blog could not be saved on our website.  Anyway, four weeks later and after having NASA consult on the matter I am back on the blog.

Let’s catch up, shall we?

During our golf outing at Wayland Country Club Donny had a gallery. Man, the guy can play. The UConn Husky club covers were a bit much though. I am surprised he didn’t have a picture of Coach Calhoun on his golf bag. Tim can play too. He is a nine and Donny is a two. Without question, the two best dressed golfers to ever set foot on Wayland.

It was great to have Greg back in…for a night. No seriously, Dickerson always bring life to the station. Felger comes work, grunts to say hello and then hides behind his office door. Greg, stops and chats with everyone in the place. I mean everyone. He claims to be handling being a first time parent. But, I can tell it is kicking the daylights out of him just like it did the rest of us.

On Monday’s Mohegan Sun Sports Tonight, Lou Merloni chats it up on biothe the early and late editions. Scott Zolak pops-in to discuss all things Patriots at 10 PM.

Speaking of the Patriots, Tuesday brings another workout and another look at Tom Terrific. The gang should be able to add more insight into the return of the franchise.

The Sox continue their roadtrip. Jonathan Papelbon joins us on Friday, while other guests during the week include Rob Bradford, Don Banks and Jackie MacMullan.

Tune in every weeknight at both 6:30 and 10 PM for Mohegan Sun Sports Tonight.

With lots of athletes strolling around with heads bigger than Mr. Met, there has been a lot of talk lately about who is and who isn’t on the "juice" these days…

Looking to come cleaner than Nancy Pelosi, Sports Tonight’s Gary Tanguay sets out to clear the air… with the help of his pals Jonathan Papelbon and Michael Felger.

Watch this clip and decide for yourselves, is Gary telling the truth or does he really have a "Body by Jake" and nothing more?  (Bonus points if you get as uncomfortable as Felger does.)

Sure, Dustin Pedroia must be thrilled to take home the American League’s MVP award. Think of all the superstars he overcame to do this. He has once again proved so many wrong. Just as he did during Spring Training as he gets some payback to Gary Tanguay for comments he made in 2007.
