Make it 6 of their last 8 games and the first loss at home for the Celtics current losing ways. With the 89-85 loss to the Rockets, the Celtics fall 2 games behind Cleveland for the best record in the Eastern Conference and are now tied with Orlando in the loss column. The Celtics played hard again, but your host Justin Poulin offers a simple answer..too much iso offense and lacking a commitment to defense first. Yao Ming carried the Rockets in the 4th quarter until Von Wafer knocks down the dagger from beyond the arc. Jack Jemsek, CSL Staff Writer, co-hosts and offers his thoughts as Celtics Nation officially has cause for great concern.

Sure, you can criticize the Celtics for having lost 5 out of 7 games, but this Bobcats team has always been a tough out for Boston and the men in green played hard tonight despite falling 114-106. Surely, the Kool-Aid junkie fanbase will continue to cite the referees as a major factor in the team’s struggles but Ray Allen said it best to Greg Dickerson before the game, "you don’t make excuses for why you win." Tommy Heinsohn offered the best possible solution to the team’s woes on Pregame Live - they need a mental holiday. Patrick Gilroy joins your host Justin Poulin to break down another loss on the road.

The Celtics take an easy win from the Wizards, 108-83. Jack Jemsek, CSL Staff Writer, joins Justin Poulin to break down the game and sift through the overwhelming success to find meaningful trends. Patrick O’Bryant got just under 6 minutes of play and Doc employed a new rotation for the bench that had positive results (like most everything in this blowout).

Celtics Stuff Live arrives to the party a day late, but not a penny short of a dollar with this Postgame Podcap rehashing the Celtics loss to the Portland Trailblazers, 91-86. Paul Pierce played a good game, but that seemed to fall into the hands of Nate McMillan’s strategy and the Celtics interior defense struggled once again. Portland’s long athletic line-up gave the C’s some difficulty, especially with hot shooting Steve Blake running amock in the post and knocking down mid-range jumpers and key three point attempts. The officials certainly did their best to garner some attentiont, essentially penalizing the Celtics a point when the Trailblazers put forth 6 players at the end of the first half, not to mention a rather curious technical foul on Kevin Eastman. Jusint Poulin is joined by Kevin Henkin, CSL Staff Writer, for all the overreaction and chicken little nonsense that is the essence of being a die-hard Celtics fan.

The Celtics squash the losing streak with a convincing win over the Kings. Many Celtics players enjoyed the match-ups they had against an inferior Sacramento club, especially KG and Kendirck Perkins. This allowed the bench to get a good amount of run and outpaced the Kings bench with Eddie House leading the way with 15 points. Gabe Pruitt played the fourth quarter and the Notorious POB did his best to stick it to the CSL guys who criticized him in the pregame show. Jon Duke and Justin Poulin break it all down and revel in the feel good win.

The Boston Celtics have their 19-game winning streak snapped like a Slim Jim by the Lakers of all teams, 92-83. For this day anyway, the National pundit’s love for the Lakers is justified and Celtics fans everywhere are anxiously awaiting the rematch on February 5th. Rondo got into early foul trouble with some questionable calls in an otherwise loosely officiated game. Kevin Garnett had an incredible night offensively going 11-14 from the field for 22 points and three of the newly patented Rondo to KG baseline alley-oop. Seventeen turnovers and 23% shooting from beyond the arc hurt the Celtics in the end as well as some rather confident play from Pau Gasol who attacked the basket in the final minutes working the two man game with Kobe Bryant. Eric Weiss and Thomas Halzack join your host Justin Poulin to discuss the first match-up of the season against last year’s NBA FInals opponent.

Another day, another record. Lately, the Boston Celtics seem to be sending out more records than a special offer from the BMG Music Service. The Celtics win their 19th straight and set an NBA record for a start to the season improving to 27-2 with a 110-91 victory over the 76ers. The Celtics show no signs of looking past their opponent to the game on Christmas day against the Lakers and finish off the 76ers with relative ease playing the bench almost entirely in the 4th quarter. CSL Stafff Writer Kevin Henkin joins your host Justin Poulin to break down the game and preview the highly touted match-up only 2 days away in Los Angeles.

The Celtics leave Atlanta tonight with the best record ever to start an NBA season at 24-2, while Kevin Garnett passes The Admiral on the all-time scoring list and dominates the post down the stretch helping to extend the Celtics winning streak to an amazing 16 games. With the price of gas dropping like f-bombs during a home game, the Celtics do not appear to be concerned about whether or not they’ll have enough left in the tank by the end of the season. Patrick Gilroy from the Celtic Pride Radio Network joins Justin Poulin to relish in the Celtics success and what proved to be an exciting game of substance. Patrick also reminds that only 2 season ago, Boston managed only 24 wins for the entire year.

The Celtics tie an NBA record 25-game start to a season as they improve to 23-2 following a win against the Utah Jazz 100-91. The Jazz were without Carlos Boozer and struggled in the paint getting outrebounded 50-30 and watching Rondo charge through the paint with ease down the stretch. Kendrick Perkins was the Robin to Rondo’s Batman on the offensive end of the court to close out the game and is a testament to just how far this offense has come since last season. Boston had a scare in the final 30 seconds of the game when Paul Pierce sustained an injury to his knee and had to be helped off the court. Eric Weiss from BBIQ joins Justin Poulin to break down the game and discuss the good use Gabe Pruitt made of his minutes, and the contrasting overall poor performance of the bench unit.

The Celtics set a franchise record for a start to a season improving to 21-2 on the year with a 122-88 drubbing of the Washington Wizards. After two days off and two good practices, the Celtics starters were able to remain rested playing limited minutes thanks, in part, to a solid performance from the bench. Kevin Henkin, CSL Staff Writer, joins your host Justin Poulin to break down the game and take a look ahead at tomorrow night’s match-up against the New Orleans Hornets which should prove to be a far tougher challenge for your Boston Celtics.

Make it a perfecta trifecta for the Celtics this week as they trounce their third straight opponent in the Portland Trailblazers 93-78. The Blazers, apparently, had a chip on their shoulder leftover from intense match-ups last season. Unfortunately for the young up-and-comers from the left coast, that angst was only effective for about 18 minutes before the Celtics went on a 21-0 run (spanning halftime) as Rajon Rondo takes over another third quarter en route to another rout. Jon Duke joins Justin Poulin for another postgame podcap.

The Celtics get a revenge win against the Indiana Pacers, 114-96. Rajon Rondo played superb and finished with the Celtics first triple-double in two seasons going for 16 points, 17 Assists (career high) and 13 rebounds to go with 3 steals. Ray Allen was also unconscious scoring a game-high 31 points in less than 27 minutes and you’d hardly notice that Paul Pierce struggled going 5-17 from the field. Kevin Garnett was incredibly efficient and chipped in 4 blocks, while Kendrick Perkins took advantage of big third quarter lead to work on his back to the basket game. The Celtics went without Tony Allen and the bench struggled, but the margin for error is the Grand Canyon right now and Celtics fans are grateful. Eric Weiss from BBIQ joins Justin Poulin for a lengthy, in-depth, and analysis-rich postgame podcap.

Make it 9 in a row for the Boston Celtics as they dispatch the Orlando Magic like Ponch and Jon, 107-88. Rajon Rondo continues to advance his game increasing his willingness to take jumpers and more importantly, offering up perfect alley-oop passes to KG and Perk. Paul Pierce, once again, turns it on when he needs to scoring 9 of the Celtics 1st 11 points in the second half after sitting out most of the second quarter with 3 fouls. On a night when Orlando was allowed to be extremely physical, the Celtics did well to contain themselves and just play basketball. Sam Cassell was ejected with two straight techincals and Perk got his 9th on the season as well leaving fans wondering aabout his reputation (although who knows what he’s saying to the zebras). Patrick Gilroy from the Daily Item in Lynn and the Celtics Pride Radio Network joins your host Justin Poulin to breakdown the game and the spectacular performance of the bench to start the 4th quarter.

The Boston Celtics went to the mat against the Philadelphia 76ers and applied a deadly submission hold int he 3rd quarter that had Coach Mo Cheeks tapping by the start of the fourth quarter. The 76ers scored more than 20 points in that frame thanks to the Celtics reserves letting up and playing some run-and-gun all-for-fun. It truly was a beat down, 102-78 led by another great performance by Rajon Rondo and the Celtics as a whole, committing to making the extra pass and moving off the ball. This Christmas tree ceremony-like lighting of the 76ers was not without it’s moment of drama though, when Brian Scalabrine took a hard foul in the final minute. Host Justin Poulin leads of with a strong opinion on this topic and is joined by CSL Staff Writer Kevin Henkin to bring you another Postgame Podcap.

The Boston Celtics play the defenseless Warriors in an all-out offensive blitz of a win, 119-111. It appeared as if the Celtics were ready to take a night off on the defensive end, and were going to get away with it in the first quarter. In the second quarter however, the Celtics reserves struggled to put points on the board or get a stop on the defensive end as the Warriors scored the most points of any team in any quarter of any Celtics game on the season. Those 39 points more than doubled Boston’s effort and put them down by 13 heading into the half. Rajon Rondo took over the game coming out of the break and led the Celtics as they doubled down on Golden State 32-16 in the third quarter to retake the lead by 3 heading into the fourth. Doc went small down the stretch and the Green team improved to 14-2 on the season. CSL staff writer Jack Jemsek joins your host Justin Poulin to break down all the action.
